  • Who Is IUPAT?

    International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.

    IUPAT is a labor union representing over 160,000 active and retired working people in the United States and Canada. Our members are industrial and commercial painters, drywall finishers, wall coverers, glaziers, floor coverers, sign and display workers, convention and show decorators, and other specialized tradespeople.

    The IUPAT membership extends far beyond the workplace. Recognized as one of the most active unions in the Labor Movement, IUPAT members help shape our communities through a commitment to service, political action, and fighting passionately for the rights, safety, and prosperity of ALL working families.

  • WHO IS IUPAT DC5?

    International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 5.

    IUPAT is organized into thirty District Councils to best represent our diverse membership within their specific communities. By being closer to our members’ communities, District Councils can uplift and address the specific needs of each region. IUPAT DC5 is the District Council representing IUPAT members in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

    IUPAT DC5 represents the following IUPAT local unions…10, 77, 101, 188, 300, 364, 427, 740, 1094, 1208, 1236, 1238, and 1959
